Please read this before relying on anything you see on DocPicks.
DocPicks is an informational decision-support tool. It is not official guidance, medical advice, legal advice, or career advice, and it is not affiliated with the National Department of Health, the HPCSA, the CMSA, or any university.
The hospital information, scores, and rankings on DocPicks are based on research gathered from public sources and our own investigation, compiled in good faith. Despite our best efforts, this information may be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date — hospital services, accreditations, and circumstances change, and research can contain errors.
Some of our data is deliberately incomplete. We don't invent figures we don't have. Where we don't have a value for a factor at a particular hospital, we leave it blank and leave it out of that hospital's score, rather than counting it as zero. That means a hospital with missing data is ranked on fewer factors than one with complete data, so the two aren't directly comparable — and it can affect where a hospital appears in your ranking.
Always verify anything important independently before acting on it — in particular, always check your final placement decisions against the official hospital-placement lists issued by the relevant authority when they're released, rather than relying on DocPicks alone.
DocPicks and its operator accept no liability for any decision made, or loss or damage suffered, as a result of using this site or relying on its content. Use of DocPicks, and any decisions you make based on it, are entirely at your own risk.
